Estetics

One of the thing I've noticed to be over-distracting is having tons of app-pages in mu iPhone, it's quite standard having a relatively considerable amount of application, but since the introduction of iOS 14 this fact could be drastically improved.
App library is a great resource, and allow users to have a one page iPhone, moving all the less-used app into the library.
A chit could be "but i don't want to search for my app every time I need it" and that's fine, but keep in mind that is quite normal having around 90 application, iPhone pages arrange apps by 4X6 format so 90 apps would result into 4 pages, without widgets.
Isn't easier for browsing app simply swipe down the spotlight bar and search for it instead that keep swiping to find the magic icon?
Furthermore, whether you want it or not youโ€™re more of a creature of habit than you think, so 80% of the time Siri and spotlight provide you the right application at the right moment.
One page iPhone is more effective because let you focus on the app that you really need and are relevant for your activities putting in the app library all the distractions: social, games and dating apps.
Also wallpapers plays an huge sole when it comes to distractions, our mind is attracted by bright, colourful stuff, and as well a a wallpaper of this kind, could push us to interact more with the phone.

If you want to be focused, but maintain your middle-school image of the cool guy with the strange wallpapers shared with Bluetooth among Nokias, you can keep it and being even cooler hiding your iPhone dock and folders with special backgrounds:

Neetness and lightness

My iPhone was a mess similar to a junkyard, everything older than 1 week was left behind, and during I've been collecting dozens of memes, screenshot, grocery list notes and hairdresser number for which I have never searched in the address book, but always on google. Let's be honest.
Having 256 or 512 gigs is a great stimulus to keep collecting file that you will never and ever be useful and even if they were, it would be impossible to find the right one in millions of garbage files.
So it could sound a drastic measure but clean everything is unuseful, all the screenshots, contacts, single-use-code messages from the bank and 2016 chats to resell your JBL speaker on eBay.
